A Gift
The painting as a gift
Commission it quietly. Let it arrive when the missing begins.

Wedding gifts have a timing problem
They arrive in a pile, in the loudest week of the year, and the couple opens them in a blur between thank-you notes. The best gift shows up a month later, when the flowers are gone and the quiet has arrived, and it is the day itself, painted.
For parents, for the couple's closest people, for planners who want their farewell to a client to be unforgettable, timing is the whole trick. Commission during the engagement. Send the photograph after the wedding. The painting arrives right when the missing begins.

How to give one
01
Commission quietly
Begin the order in your own name. Nothing is charged until the arrangement is set to your address, and the studio keeps the commission entirely between us.02
Send the photograph when you have it
Before the wedding if you know the frame, after the wedding once the photographer has delivered. The clock starts the day the photograph reaches us.03
Choose the arrival
Ship to yourself and give it in person, or ship straight to the recipient with a card. Tell us the timing in your note and we will hold to it.04
A written note, if you like
Included, on cotton stock, in your own words. Tell us what to write, or leave a small envelope blank for you to fill in on arrival.Every gift is packaged the same way we package our own: the tube cradled, the note tied, the address quiet. Commission a gift
